I thought of some GOOD AS NEW FACTS that I have learnt from my friends on the forum and other professional sourcesXx These are MY GOOD AS NEW FACTS that I use to help me and help support other people with depression Xx
M-meditate or do yoga (MCBT) (Helen)
Y- Yawn stretch and get some oxygen into your lungs and warm up your body for exercise or do Yoga (Tony Robbins Co counselling and Brencoot)

G- get out,  Go Out Often Daily, walk the dog get some fresh healing air in your lungs and release endorphins (Brenccot)
O-observe and enjoy the moment, live in the now.(Erkhart Tolle, Marissa Peer,Jean and Hope)
O-open yourself up to compliments, drop your barriers and open up your heart maybe offer help to others it may make you feel better and make other friends (Elaine Hope Jean Kayfer Brencoot and Helen)
D - divide tasks up into baby steps small digestable chunks (Helen and Marissa Peer)

A - Amuse yourself with crafts jigsaws game of cards hobbies to distract the mind (Dale Carnegie and Jean, Marissa Peer)
S - sleep, encourage a good nights sleep, use lavender,have warm baths, horlicks, hot water bottle on tummy & camomile tea (Jean and Helen)

N - Nutrition, eat foods rich in vitamins and minerals proteins, having a healthy diet makes your mood better (Marissa Peer and Helen)
E - Exercise releases endorphins and gives you energy (Brencoot)
W - drink Water (Hope Kayfer and Brencoot)

F- friends and family, create friendships to avoid loneliness (Elaine Hope and Kayfer)
A - Ask for help either from professionals or ask friends to help or delegate chores so your not overwhelmed (Hope)
C -Comedy see the funny side,watch comedy, laughter is a great healer of sorrow and depression (Helen Dale Carnegie Doherty Adams (Patch Adams))
T - Tell yourself you are ENOUGH (Marissa Peer) also T for Tapping EFT Emotional Freedom Technique(Greenlady, Helen)
S - Sing a happy positive tune in your head (Marissa Peer)

I have another succinct version for me - MEND which I borrowed the idea from a teenagers T shirt at the swimming pool.

M - Meditate

E - Exercise

N - Nutrition that is healthy food and water

D - Drink water or D - Do it !

All these factors help improve my mood Xx Chloe X

Has anybody else got any more acronyms they might like to share with us XXHUGXX
