Brencoot Xxx It was gorgeous here too the sun was out Xx the little wee man loves the open, lots of sniffs and smells. A friend said I should only walk him 1 min per week of his age because of his hips (golden labrador puppy 15 weeks) . He is so so gorgeous XXx My husband and I and my daughter can not believe our luck we all love him so much Xx thank you for your help and advice. Do I say close to him or heel to get him to walk with me. I have treats in my pocket and the puppy is really really good and so eager to please. We haven’t had many accidents in the house of late he has been going outside most of the time. I am clearing out the garage this week and turning it into a room. Should be fun, I just need to fill out forms for the council and we can go ahead. We are really excited. My computer needs to go the repair shop tomorrow because I opened an ecard and now we are experiencing all sorts of problems and we can not get on the net. Luckily I got on through mozzilla firefox Xx Speak soon XxThank you for all your help and advice your really great XxChloe

Hello, how are you? Is your computer OK? Is it going to be expensive to get it fixed? I hate computers.

I’m glad things are going well with your dog. Routine is everything, especially when it comes to toilet training. Mayumi (my wife) would always say that you shouldn’t give dogs treats for doing something correct, just fuss and attention, otherwise they get attached to the treat, not the person, and it doesn’t matter who the person is, as long as they have treats, but it is more important for dogs to know WHO (a person) is the pack leader.

The walking with you thing is difficult, I’m not sure about that cos I find it a bit difficult. If dogs pull a lot, Mayumi recommends a certain kind of lead, but can’t remember which one. I’ll ask her.

Well, sorry, better get on. Hope you are well.

Brencoot XxThe puppy does love the treats and not me !!! I have noticed that Xx
The computer is in the shop cost £130 so far boo hoo my husband has forgiven me and shown compassion because I didn’t enter my credit card details which the virus requested and there was a pile of computers in the shop and the lady behind the counter said people had to cancel their credit cards because they had given the horrid people their details. Hopefully I should get it back soon. The puppy is charging around with toilet paper in its mouth running like it is in the grand national with thundering paws and flapping ears. The old staffie has tucked himself behind my legs and hidden. My daughter and the puppy have bonded she doesn’t need treats she gives him all her time and love. The only person the dog wont obey is my husband tee hee I guess nothing changes in this house poor bloke. Did you sort out your boiler, will you be nice and warm for spring. I received the most beautiful bunch of daffodils the other day from a wonderful friend and they did warm my heart and make me smile when they opened up in bloom. It has been cold and the goats have still got their coats on. I hope its warm in your house. I am typing with one finger on a tiny laptop so I best go and see to that puppy and why my daughter has just taken a wine glass out of the cupboard. Thank you for your advice all us in this house listen and need it Xxhug xx THANK YOU XX

Hello Chloe, how are you? Yeah, my wife would say that you definitely have to get your dog off treats. Sorry, I forgot to ask her last night about what lead is best to use for a dog that is pulling. I’ll ask her tonight.

Our heating was fixed about a week and a half ago, then last week it had a problem again, but it was fixed again last Wed, and fingers crossed has been OK since then. Guess we just have to wait and see what happens. It really seems like all the road is bad though, cos a friend has bought a house on the same road and when he went to check it with the estate agent last week, the boiler was leaking. I’d told him to look out for any heating problems.

It’s good you didn’t enter your credit card details. You always have to be careful online, don’t you?

Well, I hope all is well with you. Take care.

Hello Jean, Brencoot and Chloe,

How are you all?

It has been a while since I visited here last.

I have been working on a few things, and am feeling more positive and cofident than before.

I have discovered this quote, and would like to share with all of you here:

“Today is different
The effort is worth it
Use the moment
Win hearts and minds
Stand for something
Celebrate constantly
Act abstract
Lighten up
Agree to disagree
Balance your life
Just kick back
Joy can’t wait
Search your soul
Accept advice
Laugh out loud
Add more fun
Say “wow” more
Pursue happiness”

Hope you are all well and healthy.

Hello Hope, how are you? It sounds like you are feeling a bit better, which is nice to hear.

Thanks for the quote. There are a lot of very true statements in there. If we could live our lives more akin to this statements, we would all probably be a lot better off.

Any plans for the weekend?

Well, take it easy.

Dear Hope, what a lovely quote.  Thank you for sharing it with us.  I love it so much that I wonder if you would mind me posting it on the Positive suggestions feature on the Ineract page on the site or if you would like to do so, so that everyone can read it? Thanks.  Helen

Hi Brencoot,

Good to hear from you.  I am doing well.  Started my boxing class this week, and it was a lot of fun.  Hard workout, but I really enjoyed it.  Definitely will go back for each week’s torture grin  What about you?  Still running and stretching?

I felt a bit last night, something I ate didn’t agree with me :-0 So I am taking it very easy today, and be very very kind to my body.  Funny that this kind of incident usually happens to me when I am about to start something new while ending something else… Maybe I am reading too much into it, oh, well, just a thought grin

This weekend, I want to spend some time with my beautiful man who has been working hard during the week.  Also I am hoping to hang out with a good friend of mine, you know, a bit of chit chat, have a look around the shops, grab a drink or two…  Nothing too intense, but easy going and relaxing.  What about you?  Are you and your wife planning on anything?  Hey, Valentine’s day is coming up next weekend, isn’t it?

I am starting some volunteer work next week, and I am quite excited about that.  Making someone else’s life a little bit better is what I aim to achieve.  It also makes me happy and inspired.  Yes, I look forward to my new project in life.

Glad you like the quote.  I have the quote written out in different color decorated in my house, just to remind myself how to at happy, positive without trying too hard on a daily.

Have a great one, Brencoot.  Thank you for your kind words and support grin
