Dear Duncan, I tried and felt that I was really helped by hypnotherapy.  At the time I knew what I needed to do but didn’t feel able or strong enough to do it and felt that hypnotherapy would appeal to my subconscious that is less affected by our day to day worries.  We are all very different but I would definitely say that hypnotherapy worked for me.  I wish you every success with your hypnotherapy.  Best wishes, Helen

Dear Duncan, I too have heard these stereotypes on a course about archetypes.  I find it interesting too.  It’s so great that you are proactively pursuing your own recovery journey.  I’m really pro self help and pursuing the therapy we feel is right for us.  Whilst we should be guided by the doctors and professionals I think we know ourselves better than anyone and should also listen to ourselves.  Keep up the good work.  Best wishes, Helen
